My Experience

I've purchased products with shea butter in them before, but never raw shea butter. I'm impressed with the quality. First I tried using it in my hair. I think I used a little too much. Next time I would only use enough to cover my hands and then smooth them over my hair. I especially liked using it on my hands and arms. I like the way it smells and how well it absorbed into my skin.

I would note that having several small containers to put this in would be good so you can easily use the product. 16 oz. is a lot and will last me a long time. I'm excited to try making my own lotion.
Overall I like how soft my skin feels and all the uses raw shea butter offers.

My Experience
I cannot believe how many uses there are for Argan oil! Each application only requires one to three drops. So a little goes a long way and it will last a long time. So far I've used it on my face, my hands, my arms, and my hair. Each time it has absorbed quickly and I don't feel like I have oil sitting on my skin. I especially notice an instant difference in my hair. It looks smoother, shinier and is more manageable. I've heard other Argan oils add fillers so I also like that this is 100% Pure Organic Argan Oil, without any fillers. Overall I think this is a must have product because of all it's different uses!

My Experience

My Experience
I do not like to go to the gym. So if I'm going to exercise it prefer it to be at home. I don't have a lot of room for exercise equipment so I was excited to try the PhantomFit Resistance Loop Bands. I had to do a little searching to find out exactly how to use them. I started off using the blue band which is the lightest resistance. As a beginner this one worked the best. I like that as I get stronger I'll have the next band to move on to. 
I like that they come with a storage bag. These bands don't have handles so occasionally my hands would get sore. Overall I like how easy they are to use and how portable they are. They can be taken from home, to work, to the gym or even to the park. Wherever you feel most comfortable working out.

Our Experience
For the past three Christmases Mr. R has asked Santa for a firetruck. He was very excited when I showed him the book and DVDs. He sat and watched an entire DVD, completely engaged! 
Mr. R's favorite chapter is on the Rescue Vehicles. He hasn't started reading yet so all the color photos make it a lot of fun to look at. For the chapters that require reading we can sit together and enjoy all the great information.
I like that each DVD is just over half an hour. Just long enough to keep my boys entertained but not too long that they get bored. I also like that they are educational. The music is nice and I don't mind listening to it in the background. I'm sure this would make a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for the fire truck lover.

My Experience
I absolutely love crafts and being creative! CreativeBug has so many amazing projects I almost didn't know where to start. I chose to make a Six Pocket Keepsake Book. The videos are simple and detailed. I like that I was able to pause and catch up while in the middle of the video. I used a standard 8 1/2 X 11 piece of card stock. As you can see it made a perfect book to display my Artist Trading Cards.
I also like that each project has a materials list so that I know what I'll need before I start. I almost tried making Suminagashi Ink Marbling, but didn't have everything I needed on hand. So I know what I'll be doing this weekend.
I encourage you to take a look and see all the different classes that are available. No matter your medium or skill level I think you will find something to inspire you! I'd love to hear which project looks like the most fun to you.

Our Experience
Mr. R was excited to try this fun new coloring book. The app was easy to download. (Especially because my husband did it for me!) As a parent I like the Earth friendly theme of this coloring book. The digital crayon stylus is fun to use and just right for little hands. It's completely safe to use it on the device. I'd just be sure to explain the this is a special crayon and other crayons don't work the same. You wouldn't want to be cleaning your screen after that mistake. I found that sometimes it was difficult to get the stylus to respond quickly, however Mr. R was able to use his finger in place of the crayon if he wanted to. I also like the very unique feature of my son being able to color in the paper book and then taking a picture and being able to continue where he left off on our iPad. I've not seen anything like it before.
One thing I would note is that I didn't notice much of a variation in the paint and marker functions. It would be nice if there was a bucket paint option that would fill areas with color.

My Experience

I received two Dreambaby® products for review. The first one was the Dreambaby® Adjustable Car Window Shades. These two shades are perfect for my back windows. They protect all three boys from the sun. They are easy to attach with suction cups. The shade pulls down and is secured with a suction cup and velcro. With the press of a button they quickly roll up. The animals on the shades are doable. I would note that the windows can't be rolled down when the shade is in place so you need to plan in advance if you plan to open them. Also, be sure to have your window locks on. Mr. R liked the zebras the best, so I put that one next to him and the tiger one next to Mr. O. 

The second product was the Dreambaby® Babyview Mirror. This mirror attaches with a lever suction cup so it is very secure. The mirror can rotate in any direction and it has a telescoping arm making it completely adjustable. I really like being able to see Mr. C in the back seat. I think it keeps him a little better behaved because he knows I can see him. It's also large enough that I can see his brothers next to him too. It can also attach to the back window so you can see your baby in a rear facing car seat. Both these products have made driving in the car with my kids better.

My Experience
I didn't have any prior experience with lavender oil. So my mom confirmed that the quality of this lavender oil is excellent! I love how versatile this lavender oil is. The first thing I tried was adding scent to my dryer balls. Just a couple drops was enough to make my laundry smell wonderful. I'd also heard of making 'Monster Spray" with lavender oil. Because bedtime with Mr. C has become a little more challenging now that he is two I thought I could give this a try. I just mixed a fews drops with water in a spray bottle. Voila! It doesn't work every night, but it's an added resources. If nothing else it can calm me down! I can't wait to try all the other uses for this lavender oil.

My Experience
As I mentioned before I'm not the best cook, but I do like to bake. These gloves are great for taking my pans in and out of the oven. They fit my hand very well. However, they are a little small on my husbands hands. He could still use them but he didn't find them comfortable. I like that both sides have the rubber gripping surface so there is no wrong way to put them on. Also, the silicone grip makes me feel confident that what I'm holding isn't going to slip. They also have cloth loops at the wrist so I can hang them on an easily accessible hook next to my stove. Overall, I like the function and quality of these gloves.

Our Experience
Speekee is an online Spanish language learning program. I was excited to try it because I could use it with all three boys, ages 2, 5 and 8. I logged into the website and let them explore. I thought it would guide them on where to go and what to do. Unfortunately, they got frustrated very quickly. A brief tutorial on how to use the website would be helpful. Eventually we figured out how to move our character and watch a few of the videos. The videos are immersive, in that they only speak Spanish. Without an idea of what is being said they had a head time following along. Also, some of the videos are too long to keep the interest of my boys.
It looks like a great program with a lot of content. I just struggled with knowing where to start. Overall, I think the student has to be very motivated to learn the material. I encourage your to sign up to see for yourself and let your children experience it.

My clothes came out of the wash smelling great and out of the dryer feeling soft. I have a few cloth diapers set aside just in case we have another baby, and I know that soap nuts have been recommended for cleaning cloth diapers. Also, compared to others detergents soap nuts liquid costs less. Lastly, they are much better for the environment. Overall soap nuts have so many benefits that I have to switch! This is a product I had never tried before. The first time I used it I applied it to my wet face. It was rougher than I had expected. I also have slight acne and the salt stung a bit. So the next time I used it I left my usual face cleanser on and added the salt before I rinsed it. This worked much better and left my face feeling smooth. I use this about once a week to exfoliate. I think more often would irritate my skin. Overall, after I learned the best way to apply it to my face I liked the results!
