La Beauté Pure Vitamin C Serum Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Here is some information about La Beauté Pure Vitamin C Serum:
  • Dr. Oz and leading plastic surgeons endorse Vitamin C for anti-aging, anti-wrinkles, and for taking decades off your face.
  • Safer than a chemical peel and cheaper than a facelift. Vitamin C can give similar results.
  • Applying vitamin C to the skin is up to 20 times more effective than taking it orally.
  • Highest concentration of Vitamin C available at approximately 20%. If we added more the product would be runny and not absorb as well.
  • No parabens. No chemicals. No preservatives. No Formalin. No Formaldehyde. No Phthalates. No Petro-chemicals No GMO. No Triclosan. No Fragrance. No Colors. Not tested on animals. No wrinkles. No worries.
This shipped quickly and was packaged well.
I like how it absorbs quickly and doesn't sit on top of the skin. Also, a little will go a long way.
I was very pleased that it doesn't have a strong smell. I think it would be good for most people even someone with sensitive skin.

You can purchase it on Amazon here.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

WooBamboo Eco Toothbrush Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

WooBamboo makes amazing bamboo toothbrushes! What makes them so amazing? First, they are eco-friendly. The bamboo handle will completely decompose compared to a regular plastic toothbrush that will sit in a landfill forever. The bristles are also recyclable. So much better than a regular toothbrush.

Second, because bamboo is naturally anti-micorbial I worry less about the icky things that could be growing on my toothbrush. The bamboo is also organically grown and sustainably harvested.

The biggest difference I noticed between my WooBamboo toothbrush and other brushes is how light the WooBamboo brush is. It's a great reminder for me to be gentle while brushing! They also look cool in case you like to show off to your friends.

They offer two different handle designs - standard and slim. The slim one is my favorite. Lastly, I'm SO happy to see that they are also going to be making a child's size brush that will be available in early 2014. I look forward to getting them for all three boys!

Hoffman Academy Online Piano Lessons Review & Giveaway

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Hoffman Academy offers online piano lessons. I love that the first lesson creates success right away! By the end you are playing your first song. I really appreciate all the information that they have on the website too. Mr. O is 7 and I feel he is at the perfect age to start learning the piano. The Parent's guide has an emphasis on daily consistency. While we did miss a few days over the holidays we retuned to the lessons easily. We didn't 'make up' for our missed time, just jumped right back in. I didn't want to make Mr. O feel overwhelmed. Mr. R showed some interest, but I think I'll wait until he is 5 to start the lessons. Hoffman Academy has great answers to knowing when your child might be ready to begin lessons.

The theory and activity pages are a wonderful way to supplement the online lessons. They are fun and easy to use. I hope you take a moment to visit Hoffman Academy and see for yourself all the information and lessons they have.

Here is what is included in the Piano Unit 1:
Music Theory Worksheets & Activity Pages (36 PDF pages)
Song Sheets with Practice Instructions (5 PDF pages)
Piano Listening CD MP3s
Practice CD MP3s
Parent's Guide
