My Experience
All three boys like to build things. This set was most enjoyed my by Mr. R who is seven year old. He needed a little help, but was mostly able to put it together independently. I like that all the necessary tools are included. The directions were easy to follow, although we did find one mistake on where the screw needed to go. The pieces can be configured to make two different vehicles adding to the fun. There are two different types of plastic pieces, hard and soft. The pieces are well made with smooth edges and bright colors. On the small car the wheels rubbed against the plastic a little, but he didn't seem to mind. There are also three different sets of stickers for the eyes, each gives the vehicle a different expression. Overall, this toy developed his skills of following directions and hand/eye coordination.

My Experience
Only recently did I try buying fruit pouches from the store. While they are convenient, they can get expensive with four kids. I like that these are reuseable and can save us some money. I found them a little difficult to fill depending on if I was pouring or scooping into them. I often spilled over the edges and on the zipper, making a mess that I had to take time to clean up. I don't have a funnel, but I could see this being a necessary tool. They will stand up on their own after they are about half full. They say they are dishwasher safe, but I would recommend hand washing them to get the inside completely clean. They didn't always stay open in the dishwasher, so I would have to hand wash them anyway. Because a couple of my kids are older I let them open and eat them by themselves. A couple times I had to pull the lids out of the trash. Also, after the first use the lids are less secure and come off more easily. Compared to the ones I bought at the store, these hold a lot more. This can be a good and bad thing. Sometimes we ended up with some food waste because it was just too much for my son to eat at one time. Also, the side spout does make it difficult to get the pouch empty. I would help them squeeze out what they couldn't. I like that the back side has a place for the date and contents. However, with four kids these are usually gone in our house all at once. The colors and patterns are a lot of fun and all my kids liked them. Overall, they work well, I just don't like spending so much time filling, cleaning up, and washing them.

My Experience
I've recently started using essential oils. This is a beautiful necklace that lets you diffuse your favorite scent all day long. The Belle Fleur design on the front is very pretty. The rhinestones are a little much for me personally, but they add a lot of elegance to the locket. The magnetic closure is very strong. I almost had difficulty getting it open. I'm confident that it will stay closed all day long no matter what I do. The chain is just right, not too flimsy or too bulky. Depending on what shirt I am wearing, I like that the chain can be adjusted from 20" to 23" depending on where I want it to rest. Because the seven felt pads come in different colors, I can coordinate them with my outfit. Another idea would be to use each pad for an individual scent. I put a few drops of oil on the felt pad and it lasted a couple days. It also comes with a soft pouch, good for storage or gift giving. If essential oils aren't something that you use it can also be used with perfume. Overall, the quality of the construction is excellent and it is a beautiful accessory.

My Experience
Miss N is going on eight and a half months old and still doesn't have any teeth. She is always chewing and drooling on her hands and toys. These bib do an excellent job of keeping her clothes dry. They are super cute! I love the foxes and think that both boys and girls could wear them. The fabric is soft too. They wash easily, and because they have snaps they don't get caught on other fabrics like velcro would. I have these snapped on her at the smallest setting so she has plenty of room to grow. Sometimes they bunch up a bit under her chin, but that is just the style. Overall, these perform well and come in fun prints.

My Experience
I've been hearing how so many cleaners use harmful chemicals. I want to find something safer for my family, especially with a baby in the house. Castile soap is one of the ingredients that comes up in so many DIY cleaning recipes. Because of our water we get this yucky orange film all over our shower. So the first thing I made was a tile cleaner. I found a recipe that just used baking soda and Castile soap (adding essential oils was optional). I mixed up a small batch and was amazed at how well it worked. It might have taken a little more elbow grease to get it clean, but it is worth it to avoid harsh chemicals. I like that this is unscented, so I can choose if/how I want it to smell. Because the 32 oz. bottle is concentrated, I'm sure it will last me several months. Next on my list to make are laundry soap and body wash. Overall, I feel good knowing I'm making a healthier home for my family.

My Experience
I'm not usually a fan of silicon in the kitchen. The silicon cookie sheet has to be placed on a metal cookie sheet first and then after you wash, it's not rigid enough to stay upright while drying. However, these Orblue Silicon Spoon Rests are awesome! It's great that they are soft and flexible. They fit in the top rack of the dishwasher and then go right into a drawer. I don't need to make these look nice out on the counter. When I cook, I never mix utensils in pots and I drink a lot of coffee so it's great having four spoon rests. They are so easy to clean, I have just been putting them under hot water and rubbing clean with my thumbs, tap dry and use again. The colors are nice and are a good contrast to the counters and stove top. I'm used to all the spoon rests we've ever gotten really just being decretive, but these have been actually useful and help me keep my counters cleaner, longer.

My Experience
My son started playing the guitar a couple years ago. I thought this would be something he could use to make his own picks. I like the idea of recycling old membership and gift cards. It didn't come with instructions, but I figured it would be pretty self-explanatory. He didn't find it very easy to use. After he had difficulty I tried it. It takes A LOT of force to punch through the plastic. I placed it on a solid surface and with both hands I pressed down. Looking at the picks the edges aren't very smooth and some of them were cracked. Because the pick is punched through the bottom it is also difficult to line up any image on a recycled card. Each plastic sheet can make at least 4, maybe five if you can get the edges super close. The leather pick holder is nice. Overall, I really like the concept and will get my husband to help next time.

Our Experience
With Miss N getting more mobile day to day it is time to start baby proofing our house. These lock have some really great features. First, I love that they don't require any tools to install! The 3M adhesive foam adheres easily. The hook attaches to the door or drawer and the stop is placed inside. These will work with cabinets that are outside the frame as well as ones that are flush with the frame. Ours are outside the frame. When the magnetic key is placed on the outside of the door it pulls the latch in and lets the door open. The key needs to be placed up high enough so children can't reach it. The key comes with a base with foam adhesive that can be placed anywhere, or without the base it can stick to another metal surface like a refrigerator. The under part of the latch also has a release that will prevent it from locking. This is helpful if you will be opening and closing the door repeatedly in a short time. I would go with something a little easier to open for doors that will be opened frequently, like the door to our garbage can. Overall, I'm relieved to have our cabinets secure and know that Miss N is protected from danger.
