About Shape Logic
Shape Logic is a fun game that helps develop spatial, abstract and quantitative reasoning skills. To solve the puzzle challenges, stack green pieces on top of blue pieces, or vice versa, to create identical shapes. Through hands-on play, players build key skills, strategies and mathematical understandings, such as part-to-whole relationships. Shape Logic, as part of ThinkFun special collection of STEM games, encourages children to develop reasoning skills through fun, multi-level challenges. To be a successful STEM learner, students need to develop a mental mindset for growth.
My oldest son loves mental puzzles like this! He breezed through the beginner puzzles. He found the intermediate puzzles a little more challenging. He also found that some of the puzzles have more than one correct answer. It is a single player game, but if your kids can cooperate they can take turns. My younger boys were able to play together. The pieces are made of hard plastic and quite sturdy. I also like that it has a bag to store the pieces. The puzzle cards are on a ring so they all stay organized. Overall, this is a great game to develop reasoning skills needed for math and science.
